Dang-it, our school needs a marching band

Percussion group is going fabulously this term. Even though we have fewer students, we are still having a ton of fun. We were lamenting this week that Aquinas doesn't have a marching band (or a football team!). I am all for starting one to play the half time show (?) during our lacrosse games!
Marching band was such a hoot both in High school and College. Who can forget those sexy uniforms, running over the flutes, carrying that big bass drum, making lots of noise, running over the flagline, cheering on our football team, making cool patterns out in the field, early practices, late practices, running over the majorettes and their big hair, bus rides, and AWESOME MUSICAL EXPERIENCES.
Go band.

Laugh until you pee...
2) Husband: How about a little sex tonight?
Wife: NO, I have a headache.
Husband: Final answer?
Wife: Yes, final answer
Husband: I'd like to phone a friend.
3) A young brunette goes into the doctor's office and says that her body hurts wherever she touches it."Impossible," says the doctor. "Show me."She takes her finger and pushes her elbow and screams in agony. She pushes her knee and screams, pushes her ankle and screams and so it goes on. The doctor says, "You're not really a brunette are you? She says "No, I'm really a blonde".
"I thought so," he says."Your finger is broken."
4) Bush's position on Roe vs Wade: Eh, he didn't care how ppl got out of New Orleans.

A peak at our dinner-time talks
The conversation went something like this...
Brian to Tamlin: "Cheerios don't go up your nose, bud"
Me to Brian and Tam: "Cheerios aren't supposed to go up there, but I think they might fit"
Brian to me, with a very straight face: "Tam learned today that his finger fits up his nose"
Me: "What?!"
Brian: "Yep, I turned away for a moment and when I looked back at him he had his digit up his nostril clear to the second knuckle"
Me: "What?!"....
Loud jovial laughter ensued for many moments. I could just picture this shining moment in our son's life.
Luckily no food was snorted back out of noses at the dinner table.
Sheesh.
