Tam has gone out a few times to Mom2Mom sales with me. He calls them surprise stores or adventure stores because you never know what you are going to find.
Well, here's what he bought with his money ...

He did find a few books, car shirts, and Sid the Science Kid DVDs too.
He did VERY well at realizing when something was more money than he had to spend. And he is learning to make decisions on what he wants and to not just buying the first car he sees. People kept telling me that I was brave to bring him with me, but he knew to stay with me and not throw fits if I say no. In return, I gave him a few dollars that were all his own and let him make his own decisions on what to buy. Win-win.
Next, I'll teach him to haggle.
