First sponge bath at home

Brian did the honors of giving Jude his first sponge bath at home. He really isn't that yellow / orange...just odd lighting from the small light above him. Jude was a bit jaundiced when coming home on Thursday, but looks much more pink now.

Grandma oversaw Tamlin's bath at the same time. End result = two clean boys ready for bedtime.

Proud Grandparents

Brian's parents visited us for a long weekend to enjoy playing with their grandsons. They loved being able to hold the little Jude-bug and to run around tiring out Tam.

Margie made a new quilt for Tam...which he immediately loved since it is covered with train squares. He insisted on telling the colors of each engine and immediately carrying upstairs to put across his bed.

Welcome to the world Jude Parker Thomas!

Our latest little one took his first breath in our world at 5:20pm on Tuesday, May 17th at our local hospital. Jude weighed 9lbs 4oz. and was 20inches long.
Overall, it was a fairly great birth, assisted by an epidural near the end of labor.
Both mom and baby Jude are doing great and looking forward to going home soon.

First Popsicle of the Season

Tam thought it was yummy...
until he noticed I had a red Popsicle.

Then, "I no want orange, mama."

Apparently, he wanted a red one too.
